Awards & Scholarships

National Awards Overview:
The National Society of Leadership and Success allocates $2 from each student’s
membership fee to the Awards and Scholarships program. The total monetary value
of the program increases as our membership numbers increase. To see what your Society dues are used for, click here.


The Awards and Scholarships outlined in this document are valid for the 2008/2009
academic year.

Local Awards:
In addition to the awards and scholarships awarded by the national office, local
chapters may also have local awards. Local awards are usually for students who
have made significant progress toward personal goals, contributed outstanding
services, or made outstanding contributions to the chapter.

Annual Awards Schedule:
Annual national awards are sent to Chapter Advisors at the end of April and are
presented at the induction ceremony at the end of the Spring semester. For more
information, speak with your Chapter President or Advisor.

Deadline for annual awards is March 1st.

Monthly Awards Schedule:
Monthly Awards are distributed each month during the academic year and winners
are announced at speaker videoconferences or in the Society’s newsletter.
Applications for monthly awards can be submitted at any time during the academic
year.

Application/Submission Process:
All applications must be submitted with a completed Application Form/Cover Sheet.
Applications may be faxed to 201.222.0613, mailed to the National office, or emailed
directly to awards (at) societyofsuccess.com.
